The Pacheco Collection is the most complete collection of photographs on and about Vigo open to the public.
This collection includes a total of 140,000 images taken from the end of the 19th century up to the 1970s. The variety of subject matter is outstanding and chronicles the growth and life of Vigo.
The photographers were members of several generations of the same family of photographers.
The collection was acquired by Vigo City Council in May 1991.
