The Ensalle Theatre opened in October 2003 with the intention of establishing a venue in Vigo where new artists and public could gather. The company is originally from Madrid and after ten years experience decided to set up in Vigo where it hopes to find a fresh audience. One of the attractions for theatre companies and staff here is that this type of audience eagerly receives different stories told in a different way.

The theatre organizes a wide range of activities at its facilities.

REHEARSAL ROOM:

This is used for acting classes and courses on technique and is where the companies warm up before performances.

EVENTS HALL:

Concerts, café-theatre, exhibitions and other events are organized here.

THEATRE HALL:

The theatre hall seats 81.

WORKSHOP - STORE:

This area is used for stage design, decoration and storage.
