The A Guía Hill Park is located in the area of Teis. There are spectacular views of the city and the bay, and the Cíes Islands in the distance.

At the foot of the hill there are some small beaches such as A Lagoa and A Punta, and a marked botanic trail. The main tree species are pine and oak.

Long ago the fishermen’s wives used to climb the hill to light bonfires to steer their loved ones safely home.

At the top of the hill there is a small chapel in honour of Our Lady of the Snows.

The easiest way to get to A Guía is by car or by taking the city bus (Vitrasa) route 17.
