Location: Cíes Islands (Monte Agudo and O Faro Islands)
Size: Measuring 1300m in length by 60m in width, it is the largest beach.
How to get there: the passenger boat arrives at the pier at Rodas; the beach is on the left.
Access: there are steps and several paths onto the beach
Facilities: public toilets, Red Cross, lifeguards, loudspeakers, restaurants, camp site and information office
Red Cross Point: open July and August daily as soon as the boat service starts until the last boat leaves. In June and September open at weekends. Two lifeguards and a doctor on duty.
Description: this beach joins the islands of Monte Agudo (to the north) and Faro (in the middle). The sand is white and fine and the water is crystal clear and emerald-green in colour. Beside the beach there are natural dunes which are conserved and are currently being regenerated.
