The Town Hall of Vigo, where the public servants and the elected local representatives develop their work, aims to be a place of safety for all citizens to feel at home.

The government and the administration of the municipality are competences of the City Council as well as to supervise and to stimulate the activities and services that help to satisfy the needs of the local people. Besides, the City Council is by all means at disposal of the citizens to promote their participation in the matters concerning the town issues.

The City Council integrates several advisory and executive bodies as those dealing with public safety, traffic management, work planning and environmental concerns among others.
