The Municipal Office for Volunteering (MVNO) complies with the current regulations of the Law on Volunteering of Galicia 3/2000.

A volunteer is any person serving a community or the environment in a freely and disinterested manner.

Through the MVNO any person interested in working as a volunteer can participate in various activities such as:

• Children, elderly and disabled care.
• Environmental issues.
• Punctual events.
• Volunteering in Voluntary Action Organizations (VAS).

The MVNO provides training and advice for all those people willing to collaborate to become properly skilled for voluntary action.
